Begin from 2002,Karl Lagerfeld rolls out senior hand-crafting workshop series.He hopes that he could preserve and pass on virtuosity of France eight hand-crafting workshop in this way and thanks to master craftsmen who work quietly for senior clothing development .Went across Paris 、London 、NewYork and Moscow, Chanel Metiers d’ Art has came to Shanghai,China.
Karl Lagerfeld said that it was a collection both effeminacy and strong.It has lasted for five winters from the beginning .Besides spring-summer、autumn-winter calendar ,Chanel presents a special collection in order to thanks to master craftsmen.
Chanel has incorporated France eight best hand-crafting workshop into their mechanism, including button workshop Desrues、panache workshop Lemarié、embroidery workshop lesage 、shoe workshop Massaro、hatting workshop Michel、bullion ornament Goossens、 floriation workshop Guillet.They were combined to form a company named Paraffection.
